Morphe Jaclyn Hill Favorites Palette | Review & Swatches

Morphe JH Palette (3)

It’s only fitting that the first review of 2015 should be a palette this gorgeous.  This Morphe collection of Jaclyn Hill‘s favorite shadows is so stunning and could almost double as my own personal favorites.  This palette includes a wonderful array of mattes, satins, and metallics in truly beautiful shades that will suit any skin tone.  If you are a follower of Jaclyn, then you can identify this palette as hers with just one glance. It’s full of rich browns, warm coppers and oranges, and beautiful jewel-toned pops of color.  The burnt orange shade alone should tip you off about the creator of this beauty.

Come on.  How pretty is this palette?  And, honestly, this photo doesn’t even do the shadows justice.  It’s like my camera got overwhelmed by the sheer beauty of these colors.

As with the other Morphe shadows that I’ve tried, they are just as nice to the touch as they are on the eyes.  They are buttery and soft with fairly minimal fall out.  The pigmentation and color pay off is ridiculously awesome.  Basically, they’re every makeup lover’s dream.

These top two rows are what really scream, “JACLYN HILL” to me.  For whatever reason, that orange at the end of the second row just didn’t photograph well.  The swatch, however, is true to color.  I know I’ll find myself using the left half of these two rows most often, but if you are wanting to experiment with the burnt oranges, head on over to Jaclyn’s channel.  No one can pull off this color like she can.

While the top rows are generally soft and warm, these bottom rows are packed with rich jewel tones and a few different matte browns with which to pair them.  Note to all of the brown eyed beauties out there: You should be drooling over the purples and plums.  They will look fabulous on you!

As you can see from the photos above, each formulation–ranging from matte to metallic and everything in between–swatches beautifully.  That’s generally hard to find in a palette, but Morphe does not disappoint.  I’m seriously in love with this palette and can’t wait to dive in.  Now, if I only I left the house on any kind of regular basis… I guess I’ll just have to play dress up for my husband and baby!

If you’re wanting to start your new year off with this Morphe must-have, then get your booty on over to their site and pre-order this baby now!
