Today I wanted to share a “Just Peachy” makeup tutorial with you!! Corals and tangerines are everywhere, which makes sense since Tangerine Tango is the Pantone color of the year! It can be an intimidating color to wear–especially on your face. You don’t want to look too orangey or too washed out. If you have lighter skin, I’d do what I did and accent the peach with some light pinks to brighten up the look. If you’ve got a dark complexion, then you can wear the bolder oranges or peaches that will stand out beautifully against your skin. Either way, I think this is such a fresh look for summer!

Since this coral top fit so nicely with the theme of today’s tutorial, I decided this would be a perfect opportunity to show off my OOTD (outfit of the day). To play up the peachy pink tones in my makeup, I chose this bright crinkle top! My husband and I were taking a friend out to dinner at Smith & Wollensky, so I wanted to skip the jeans and go for something that looked a little fancier. I threw on my black skinnys and a pair of girly pumps, and decided to pair them with this summery top to keep from looking too dark and wintery. Black and dark greys make up a HUGE chunk of my wardrobe, so I find bright pieces to pair them with to keep my outfits appropriate for summer!
Hope you’re all enjoying the summer sun! Do you have a fun OOTD? Please share with me below!!
